Activity at equinox:
"" v:shapes="Picture_x0020_2">September 19, 2007: It is with a heavy heart that I'm announcing this year's Rust Belt Live, planned for the last weekend in October, will not be held. A very close family member suffered a lengthy illness that ultimately ended in his passing two weeks ago. For several months, I have been dedicated to his care, and have not had the time, money, resources, or really the desire, to put a show together. I'm terribly disappointed about cancelling the show; we'll see how things look in the spring. For those of you waiting for painting orders, I haven't forgotten you. I literally haven't been around, and haven't been online, in months. If you would prefer a refund and your model back, rather than wait any longer, please contact me at kathy.hall@yahoo.com. Rust
Belt Live will move to autumn in 2007.
July, 2006: Breyerfest! Equinox had a booth at the
Artisans Gallery in the Holiday Inn North Lexington. It was really fun to
be able to see everyone and promote my new desktop publishing service for
the hobby (I'm working on the pages for that right now, so keep checking
the "Other Projects" page for updates). I had a great time being
booth-mates with Sommer Prosser, Morgen Kilbourn, Shannon Tirjer and Amanda
(sorry, Amanda, I don't know your last name!).
June
10, 2006: We did it! We successfully pulled off the first annual
Rust Belt Live show in Wheeling, WV. The show was almost unanimously loved,
and I couldn't be happier about that. The goal was to provide an excellent,
organized experience for fellow hobbyists, and that's exactly the feedback
I've received back so far. Thank you to everyone who participated and
donated!
